Peerbound Microsoft Teams Overview

Last updated: May 29, 2026

If you don't already have the Peerbound app installed in Microsoft Teams, start by reading this installation guide. This article describes how to get value out of the Teams app once it's installed.

Adding Peerbound to a Team

Even after the app is installed, the Peerbound app will only interact with users inside Teams where it's been added.

In Teams, Click on the team where you'd like to use Peerbound, select Manage team > Apps > + Get more apps. Select the Peerbound app and add it. Peerbound will now be available to all channels in that team.

How to Chat with the Peerbound App

Ask questions by:

  • Sending @Peerbound followed by your request in a shared channel, or

  • Sending your request in a personal chat with the Peerbound app.

Responses appear in threads—so you can follow up or tag teammates. Within a thread, you can ask follow-up questions and the Peerbound app will be aware of your preceding conversation in that thread.

Peerbound pulls from the customer proof you’ve made available, including:

  • Customer stories

  • G2 reviews

  • Customer quotes / moments

Peerbound also uses CRM data and the internet to filter proof and interpret your questions.

Sample Requests

Here are examples of queries the Peerbound Teams app understands:

  • @Peerbound I'm prospecting into a healthcare company. Do we have any customer stories for similar companies?

  • @Peerbound I'm prospecting into Acme Corp. Have we served similar companies?

  • @Peerbound Do we have a case study for Acme Corp?

  • @Peerbound Do we have any reviews for customers using our onboarding tool?

  • @Peerbound Do we have any proof where we were up against Competitor X?

Type @Peerbound help to see guidance anytime.

Value Statements

What they are:
Comments from customers or prospects during recorded calls that highlight the value they’ve seen from your product.

How to ask:
@Peerbound Can you share value statements for Acme Corp?

What happens:
Peerbound searches up to six recent calls with that account and surfaces quotes that reflect the customer's satisfaction or ROI.
