How Peerbound captures and categorizes impactful customer quotes
Peerbound uses AI to analyze customer conversations and surface insights called Moments. Each Moment is categorized by type, making it easy to find the right quote for sales follow-up, marketing campaigns, or internal enablement. Below is a breakdown of the Moment Types Peerbound identifies and what each one means.
Moments Toolbar
Hover over any customer quote in Moments in the Peerbound app to reveal the toolbar with available actions.

Competitive Clue
A “Competitive Clue” captures moments when customers explain why they prefer you over a rival.
If they say they could only accomplish “20% of this with [Competitor]” or describe you as “night and day” better, Peerbound marks the quote accordingly.
These insights inform positioning, messaging, and enablement by revealing exactly where you outperform alternatives.
Impact Insight
An “Impact Insight” is any positive customer statement that quantifies the results you’ve delivered.
This may include:
Fewer escalations
Faster deployments
Higher revenue
Lower costs
These measurable outcomes become Impact Insights. They help validate ROI, enrich case studies, and strengthen the business case for your solution.
Expansion Potential
Peerbound flags “Expansion Potential” when a customer shows interest in adopting new products, add-on features, or higher tiers of your platform.
Whether it’s a clear upsell opportunity or early excitement, these quotes spotlight accounts that are ready (or getting ready) to expand.
This gives Sales and Success teams a head start on growth conversations.
AI Hype
Whenever a customer talks about leveraging your AI features—such as automations, predictive models, or generative capabilities—Peerbound tags it as “AI Hype.”
This moment type helps surface compelling stories of AI in action, showcasing how your platform powers innovation. It also enables Marketing to amplify those narratives externally.
Partner Love
“Partner Love” highlights mentions of your ecosystem—including:
Integrations
Implementation partners
Joint services
Quotes that pair your name with a partner’s—e.g., “We combined Company X with Partner Y and saw instant gains”—are highly valuable for alliances teams and co-marketing efforts.
People Praise
“People Praise” is applied to any customer quote that recognizes your team or processes for outstanding service.
If a customer calls out a CSM, onboarding specialist, or support workflow as “amazing” or says you took them “from 0 to 100,” we flag it as People Praise.
These shout-outs help you:

Reinforce the human side of your value proposition
Sentiment Signal
A “Sentiment Signal” flags strong expressions of satisfaction or enthusiasm that aren’t tied to specific metrics.
Examples include:

Use Case Finder
“Use Case Finder” captures statements that reveal exactly how a customer is putting your product to work.
This could include:
